Western PA
We got a fairly early start today for some reason. We left Maryland for a nice two hour drive to Pittsburg, PA.

The whole museum was very well done. Coolest of all, it’s has an exhibit about Mr. Rogers - including the original sets.

The view of downtown Pittsburg from one of the bridges that crosses the river was pretty cool. Of course we couldn’t get a photo … too difficult while driving. This is from a website …

We finally landed in Strasberg, Ohio — Amish Country — for the night.
We didn’t realize we’d cross it, nor that it even existed … but we crossed the Eastern Continental Divide.
We decided to go to the Heinz History Museum, which of course had some history about the Heinz company, but it was really big and had a lot of exhibits about western PA in general.

After the museum we looked up bakeries to pick up dessert for tonight. It took us to a neighborhood that seemed like Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood.
Then we had an easy, 1-hour drive to our next stop.
We headed to New Castle, PA where Mel lives, the student who lived with us last year. We got to meet his whole family and his mom made dinner for us. Loved the visit!
